Chemical Free Commercial Cleaning & Infection Control
We are proud to provide safe, toxin-free cleaning services to schools and educational facilities. Our low-allergenic cleaning products and systems are not just toxin-free but deliver hospital-grade cleanliness and sanitation.
We use Stabilised Aqueous Ozone technology to transform regular tap water into a powerful cleaner, stain remover and germ killer. This system produces a cleaning agent that is more powerful than bleach but contains no chemicals. It is safe enough for use around people and on food products.
Our chemical-free sanitiser and disinfectant, Nanocyn®, is proven to be effective against 99.999% of bacteria and viruses, including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), within 15 seconds. It is applied as a fine mist from a handheld fumigation machine and quickly gets into vents, cracks and hard to reach places to ensure total sanitation and disinfecting.
Using this system, we can create a safe, clean, hygienic, and healthy environment for all students and staff, even those with allergies and chemical sensitivities.
Educational Facilities & School Cleaning Security
Our experience in school cleaning contracts, which spans over 30 years, has enabled us to determine and understand what is really important to our clients in education and it is evidently clear that security and safety is paramount in these environments.
It is a standard requirement of all Zippy staff that they hold a National Police Clearance prior to commencing work on any of our sites but furthermore, all cleaning staff employed to work on school cleaning contracts must also obtain a Working With Children Clearance as well.
Should our clients require our staff to obtain or hold any other special clearance – for example Catholic Schools Clearance – we are also able to make this an employment requirement of staff employed for that site.
School Holiday Cleaning
At Zippy, we understand that there may be certain restrictions around cleaning times on school cleaning contracts and therefore we are able to schedule and manage cleaning services in school holidays to ensure that students and staff are able to return to clean and hygienic facilities following their break.
Services that may be required to be completed outside of the school term are those that may require furniture to be moved or extended time to complete, including:
- Carpet Cleaning (encapsulation, very low moisture, and hot water extraction)
- Strip & Seal of vinyl floors
- Window and glass cleaning (including at heights)
- Locker cleaning
- External furniture cleaning
- Cleaning of specialised areas such as gymnasiums, art centre, laboratories and workshops
- Deep cleaning of bathroom and toilet facilities
Our dedicated Client Services Managers are available to schedule and manage any services required during school holidays to avoid any disruption to staff and students.
