Cleaning Professionals

At Zippy, we identify our cleaning staff as our most valuable asset and are therefore dedicated to their ongoing education and support.

We are committed to finding the right person for the job and our recruitment processes include an online application and screening process followed by face-to-face interviews for suitable candidates. All successful candidates are required to obtain a National Police Clearance and any other required clearances prior to commencement.

All staff undertake an intensive Zippy Induction prior to commencing work on site. This includes a visual demonstration of our Safe Work Instructions and Environmental Work Instructions, as well as information about our safety, quality and environmental systems.

The Zippy Induction is followed by an on-site induction conducted by our Client Services Manager. This induction is site specific to ensure full training in the site specific requirements, machinery, equipment, security and emergency procedures.

Follow up reviews are undertaken with all new staff to ensure that they are confident in the work requirements and have received adequate training. Additionally, Client Services Managers closely monitor all staff and provide training if necessary. These processes ensure that our cleaning staff are supported in their work and are providing the best possible service to our clients.

At Zippy, it is important for our staff to feel valued, and as a result they work confidently and with pride. Our staff are recognised and rewarded for their effort; our “Wall of Fame” at Head Office showcases the large number of longstanding employees (7 years or more of continuous employment), a true testament to our core values of Respect and Commitment.
